Lynn Smitherman, MD
Dr. Smitherman is a board-certified pediatrician who has been practicing in the Detroit Community for 30 years. She provides health care to infants, children, adolescents and youth, from birth to 22 years of age. Dr. Smitherman received her medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, OH. She completed combined residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics from Wayne State University Affiliated Hospitals in Detroit, where she also completed a chief residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Dr. Smitherman serves on the MIAAP Board as a Member-at-Large.
