matthew hornik, Do, FAAP                              President

Dr. Hornik lives in Bloomfield Hills, MI.  He completed his undergraduate work at Michigan State University Lyman Briggs School where he received his Bachelor of Science in Physiology. He completed his medical education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His residency training was at William Beaumont Children’s Hospital in Royal Oak, MI where he served as Chief Pediatric Resident from June 2012 through June 2013.  He currently is a partner at Pediatric Care Corner, P.C. in West Bloomfield, MI.

Dr. Hornik’s clinical interests are general pediatrics and advocacy. He has been actively involved with the American Academy of Pediatrics both at the national and state levels.  He served for 2 years as the District V Representative on the Executive Committee of the AAP Section for Medical Students, Residents and Fellows (SOMSRFT) while in residency.  He also served as the District V Representative on the Executive Committee for the Section on Early Career Physicians (SOECP) for 4 years before becoming an At-Large Member of the MIAAP Board of Directors.  He enjoys teaching residents and medical students and he is an Associate Professor in Pediatrics at OUWB School of Medicine. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with his wife and three children.
