Alexandra Blumer, Md,                               Resident Representative

Alexandra Blumer grew up in the Pittsburgh area before moving to South Carolina to complete my undergraduate degrees in Biological Sciences and Biochemistry at Clemson University. She completed her medical degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA before coming to Ann Arbor where she is currently a third-year Pediatrics Resident at the University of Michigan. Dr. Blumer will be staying at the University of Michigan for Pediatric Hospital Medicine fellowship next year.

Dr. Blumer is extremely interested in child advocacy as well as working to identify, reduce, and hopefully eliminate health disparities. She am very honored to have been inducted as a resident member into the Gold Humanism Honor Society at the University of Michigan based on her passion for this work. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking and baking, and taking peloton cycling classes.
