SCREEN for 3

The PedScreen_for_Three_Logoiatric Foundation of Michigan received grants from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the Flinn Foundation to train and support pediatric practices to implement developmental screening and make referrals to community and medical services for children who have demonstrated or are at risk of delays. SCREEN for 3 is an initiative to promote the utilization of standardized, evidence-based developmental screening tools in pediatric practices to assess every child for developmental delays or special health care needs.

The SCREEN for 3 project trains practices to incorporate the standardized, evidence-based developmental screening tools Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3), Ages and Stages Social Emotional Questionnaire (ASQ-SE), and the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (MCHAT) R/F as part of daily practice.  The MIAAP also  created the Michigan Screening Tools and Referral Training (MISTART) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) part 4 quality improvement project and is approved by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) for two years.

To receive information about training and MISTART MOC part 4
