MIAAP Advocacy
The MIAAP Advocacy Committee is currently working on an assortment of issues affecting Michigan Children. The main topic that pediatric residents advocated for during our 2022 Advocacy Day was Adolescent Mental Health Funding. Other topics that are relevant to the committee are firearm safety, reproductive rights, keeping children tobacco-free, and lead testing.
